BEANS!!

Both Aptiv and City Hall gardens are loaded with beans right now!

At Aptiv, there's a food stand where already-picked produce is available Fridays through Saturday morning. Come and get it - today, besides beans, there's rhubarb, chard, kale, a couple of summer squash, a few little ears of corn, broccoli, a butternut squash, and a few tomatoes. We have lots of tomatoes but they just haven't started to ripen yet.

At City Hall, you'll find chard and kale, peppers, tomatoes, summer squash, cukes, beans, broccoli, and turnips (mixed in with the summer squash). There's also a black garden pot covering some potatoes we dug on Tuesday. While you're there, pull a few weeds from the paths!

Potatoes +

There are potatoes under the black bucket at the City Hall garden. Also at that garden you will find turnips, green beans, cabbage, broccoli, cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, chard, kale and summer squash. Check for beans in both the long bed between the broccoli and pepper beds and on the hoop closest to the compost bin.

We are getting an overflow of weeds and hope to get that cleaned up soon. Please feel free to pull weeds from the paths when you are there!

This week at Aptiv will be corn week probably. Plus all the other great stuff.

This morning, the Aptiv stand has broccoli, green beans, chard, kale, and a couple of summer squash. We will grab up what's still in the stand Saturday at about 1 p.m. so if you want anything, get it today.

City Hall tomatoes finally got tied up. Beans are beaning and we have cukes, kale, chard, peppers, and maybe an eggplant. The potato project was postponed to next week. Look for dug potatoes Tuesday evening.
